CGPA to Percentage: Deemed & Private Universities

Most big private universities use CGPA × 10 — but a couple are ambiguous, so check yours.

· Verified against official sources

The large deemed and private universities mostly converge on a simple CGPA × 10: BITS Pilani (per its 2023 ARC circular), Manipal (MAHE), Amity and LPU all use it. Christ University is the exception, using (CGPA − 0.75) × 10 under CBCS.

Chandigarh University has no official conversion circular; transcripts typically show SGPA × 10, but CBCS −0.75 variants are also cited — so confirm with the examination cell.
